Youth Service Fund

YSF stands for Youth Service Fund. It is administrated by a committee. What they do is get creative and raise money for YSF. This money is used in your communities, districts, conferences, throughout our nation and the world to help youth who need help. Youth who want to make a difference can be funded to go on mission trips and doing amazing things for Christ! It’s a very spiffy thing to know that in supporting the YSF committee, you are helping thousands of people do great things.

So you might wonder how all of this money gets raised. It’s simple, during our meetings, the YSF committee slaves away and comes up with brilliant ideas to do wacky things just to raise a little cash. Throughout the years we have had penny wars, hugs, crazy auctions, table cleanups, and candy kisses. Money is also raised by churches and districts.

This year the committee is starting a competition between districts to which one can raise the most money for YSF. The winning district will get the Silver Hat for the following year.
