CCYM Meeting Dates

The Conference Council on Youth Ministries will meet at Morris Memorial UM Church in Charleston on Saturday, Feb. 2 beginning at 10am .  We hope to finish up around 2:30pm .  We will hear about Summer Youth Celebration ideas and plans, the MOP trip to Cuba , worship together and conduct other business.  Lunch will be provided.  Many of you are within close enough distance to attend a one day meeting with little or no problem, but if there are those that need to come in earlier (Friday evening) please be in touch with Nancy White so that arrangements may be made to have you stay with others in the area.  Remember too that it is helpful to our budget that you car pool or find a ride with those coming from your area or through it.  If you have question about travel, again, be in touch with Nancy.

 Directions –

From north and west – be sure to head toward Beckley on I 64 when you get to Charleston – get off at the 35th Street Bridge exit (after the capitol) – turn left on the other side of the river, and travel on MacCorkle Blvd for several blocks to reach the church which is a brick church on your right.

From south and east – as you come in on the turnpike get off at the MacCorkle Avenue WEST exit before crossing the big bridge.  It is a curving exit and once on MacCorkle Ave – you will go through several lights and past restaurants and stores to get to the church on your left.
